(Site Code DACA05) This Project consists of the preparation of approximately 570 housing units and 10 commercial/industrial sites to accept PG & E meters. All valves, regulators, and gas meters will be provided by PG & E. The contractor's work for this project shall include the extension of the existing house line to the new gas meter locations. It shall also include excavation to allow PG & E to intercept existing mains or laterals. This project also includes the extension of natural gas pipeline from seventh avenue to the 4500 building area. The bidders attention is directed to section 00100 in the solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for 8(a) competitive firms. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 1629. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17.0 million. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The award of this project is subject to availability of funds for FY-97 projects. Plans and specifications for this project must be ordered by the CUT OFF DATE of Feb 05, 1997 to ensure receipt of bid sets at a cost of $10.00 for specifications (text only) ; and $16.00 for half-size drawings. Full size drawings are not available. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE will not be honored. Plans and specifications will be mailed out on or about Feb 12, 1997. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm.
