In general, the work will consist of, but will not be limited to providing and constructing an addition to building 990, Eglin AFB, FL. The addition will include a pre-engineered steel building complete with metal side-walls, roof and frame. The addition will include rolling overhead doors, steel doors and frames complete with hardware, metal framed windows and concrete floors and foundations. Interior modifications will be required of areas in the existing building. On the exterior some clearing and grubbing will be required. Certain areas of existing paving will be modified. All mechanical and electrical services required to complete the work shall be included as necessary to provide a complete and usable facility. Bid opening date of 1 Apr 97 is only an estimated date. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 nonrefundable charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
