The ring levee will be constructed of traffic compacted random fill with 5 feet thick traffic compacted impervious face on the lakeside slope and 3 feet impervious cap on the levee crest. The levee side slopes will be seeded and mulched. The approximately quantities for the construction of the ring levee are as follows: impervious fill 55,000 c.y. random fill 80,000 c.y. seeding and mulching 50 acres Solicitations will be issued on or about 3 February 1997.
