This is a T-8 and electronic ballast retrofit project for existing fluorescent light fixtures located in the following buildin gs: BASE BID: Federal Building, United States Post Office and Courthouse in Co uncil Bluffs, Iowa. OPTION NO. 1: Federal Building and United States Courthouse in Sioux City, Iowa. Retrofit project work will involve properly disposing of mercury containing T12 lamps and disposing of PCB contaminated ballasts at an EP A approved facility by incineration. Any contractor or subcontractor performing PCB removal work shall satisfy special responsibility and shall provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of policy of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with PCB materials involved. The Government will not indemni fy against such risks.
