Bechtel National, Inc., acting as agents for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program (CSDP), is seeking sources to provide one lot of RHA Containers, Bins, DFS Cyclone Discharge Shroud, and Expandable Discharge Spout with options for an additional three lots of RHA Containers, Bins, DFS Cyclone Discharge Shroud, and Expandable Discharge Spout. Both the Waste Bins and Salt Containers shall be fabricated from ASTM A 36, ASTM A 500 or ASTM 501 steel plates, sections, and structural tubing. The Container Covers shall be fabricated from ASTM A 569 steel sheet and ASTM A 36, ASTM A 500 or ASTM 501 steel pipe. The DFS Cyclone Discharge Shroud shall be fabricated from ASTM A 36, ASTM A 500 or ASTM 501 steel plate and pipe. The Waste Bins shall be top-discharge type with internal cone and square opening and have hollow skids to serve as pockets for lift truck forks. The Salt Containers shall have the same hollow skids as the Waste Bins and the internal wall surfaces shall be smooth and without any ledge or inward protrusion that may damage the bagged salt during dumping. The Container Covers shall cover the Salt Containers properly with a secure fit. Delivery will be required approximately 30 weeks after award. The procurement is unrestricted with regard to business size. The solicitation will be issued approximately 20 March 1997 with a closing 30 days thereafter.
