This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for Recorder, Video, RD-674/A, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (Fort Worth, Texas 76101), P/N 406-377-003-103, NSN 5836-01-430-8724 and Video Tape Recorder, Thomson-CSF Optronique (BP 55-Rue Guynemer, 78 283 Guyancount, France) P/N 3511-318-50231(Bell Helicopter, Textron Inc P/N 406-377-003-101) NSN 5836-01-360-1622. The current sources for these items are Bell Helicopter Textron Inc and Thomson-CSF Optronique. A complete technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AA, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed sources or a statement from listed sources demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with the item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item the current sources supply. Sucessful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorilly perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
