This requirement will be awarded as an indefinite-delivery requirements type contract with a base ordering period of one (1) year. Estimated total quantity of 600 kits for the base year ordering period with an estimate of 600 kits for each of the four (4) -- one (1) year options. Options will be evaluated with the base period. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Closing date for receipt of offers will be specified in the solicitation package when issued. A sample survival kit will be required as part of the solicitation package for evaluation purposes. Method of evaluation will be set forth in the solicitation package.
