This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N68936-97-Q-0933 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-39. The contract line item numbers, items, and quantities are: CLIN 0001, 14 each Power Macintosh 9500 or equivalent, 200 megahertz clock speed, 32MB RAM, 2GB internal hard drive, 2MB Video RAM, internal 8x-speed CD-ROM drive, Interface card (apple talk and Ethernet); CLIN 0002, 14 each multiple scan 17 inch display (color); CLIN 0003, 14 each 1GB external hard drive with removeable media; CLIN 0004, 14 each peripheral component interconnect (PCI) DOS compatible card 540 with Pentium 166Mhz, 32MB RAM;CLIN 0005, 14 each Windows 95 license; CLIN 0006, 3 each Windows 95 Media (CD-ROM); CLIN 0007, 3 each Windows 95 Documentation. Vendor shall verify proper operation of CLIN 0001, 0002, 00003, 0004, and 0005 as an integrated system prior to delivery. (PC configuration shall use 750MB of space on the internal hard drive relative to installation of CLIN 0004 and 0006).
