The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires ten steel storage containers with the following specifications. Each container shall be constructed of 1/8" steel. Each container will measure 40' long x 9'6" high x 8' wide with hinged double doors at one end of the container providing a 7'7" x 9' opening. Doors shall be in good conditions and close tightly. Door latches shall be in good operating condition and shall be free from rust. Door hinges shall have no rust and allow doors to swing freely. Each container shall have oak floors and be rain and wind tight with no cracks or holes. The containers do not have to be new, but should be in good condition with no cracks, rust, holes or delaminations. The exterior shall be painted white. Delivery must be March 3, 1997 or sooner, FOB destination. Faxed responses are acceptable and should be sent to 303-497- 3163. Responses are required by February 14, 1997.
