Concerns having the ability for providing residential community corrections services for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence anf medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location shall be in the Ocala, Florida area, including counties of Lake, Marion, Citrus, Putnum, Sumter, Alachua, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy, Lafayette, and Taylor. Operational hotel/motels will not be considered as a physical plant for this requirement. Estimated number of manday for the base period is 16,082, plus 8,395 mandays for option one, 8,760 mandays for option year two and 9,125 mandays for option year three.Estimated RFP issue date is o/a February 28, 1997, estimated closing date is o/a April 29, 1997. Contract base period is 24 months with three one-year options to renew. A Requirement type contract is anticipated.
