H -- INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE SERVICES, ASBESTOS CONSULTING AND LABORATORY ANALYSIS SOL 1443RP8140-97-003 POC Glenn Anderson, 415.556.2934 CORRECTION -- The original synopsis was published December 23, 1996 and is modified as follows: The Golden Gate National Recreation Area(GGNRA) is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to award an Indefinite Quantities Contract to provide industrial hygiene services, the preparation of asbestos abatement plans, and laboratory analysis of unknown chemicals throughout the GGNRA. It is anticipated that the contract award shall be for a base period and four (4) 1-year options, exercisable at the sole discretion of GGNRA, subject to availability of funds. The base period shall be from the date of contract award through September 30, 1997. In addition to price consideration the following technical criteria will be used in evaluation of proposals: (1) Documentation of American Board of Industrial Hygiene certification; (2) Documentation of valid AHERA accreditations for Building Inspector, Management Planner, Contract Supervisor, and Project Designer; (3) Documentation of State of California Certified Asbestos Consultant license; (4) Documentation of valid State of California, Department of Health, Lead Certification for Inspector/Assessor, Supervisor, Project Designer, and Project Monitor; (5) Professional qualifications of the proposed staff; (6) Office proximity within 100 miles of the GGNRA.
