The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment-Washington DC has a requirement for scientific and engineering technical support services on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. The technical support services to be provided will assist the following DLA programs: (1) Manufacturing Technology Program, (2) Logistics Research and Development Program, (3) Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data Interchange Program, and (4) On-Demand Manufacturing Program. The following labor categories are anticipated to be required: (1) Reliance MANTECH Specialist; (2) Metalworking MANTECH Specialist; (3) Combat Rations MANTECH Specialist; (4) Sewn Products MANTECH Specialist; (5) Electronics MANTECH Specialist; (6) On-Demand Manufacturing Specialist; (7) Logistics Research Specialist; (8) Electronic Commerce Resource Center Specialist; (9) Administrative Assistant; (10) Technical Illustrator; and (11) Word Processor. The estimated level of effort for categories (1) through (10) is 400—4,000 hours annually, and for category (11), 200 -- 2,000 hours annually, for a total estimated level of effort of 4,200 -- 42,000 hours annually. This procurement will be a cost plus fixed fee contract for a base year, four one-year options, plus an option to extend the contract for six months.
