This is a requirement for the provision of washers and dryers services for a base period of one year commencing on or about 01 May 1997 with four one-year options. The washers and dryers will be located in various facilities on Fort Hood. The estimated annual machine month quantities are as follows: Washers, Top Load, H-axis, 15,312 machine months; Single Load Electric Dryers, 4,211 machine months; Single Load Gas Dryers, 5,069 machine months; Double Load Gas Dryers, 792 machine months; Stacked, Double Load Gas Dryers, 2,455 machine months; Phase-In, 1 Job. Tentative issue date is 05 March 1997. The anticipated contract type is a firm fixed price requirements contract. There is a $25.00 charge for this solicitation.
