Feickert, Contracting Officer, (605)226-7301 Work Includes: Space alterations and renovation on the fourth floor to include the following: removal of walls, doors, attenuation paneling, electrical switches and conduit where walls are removed. Construction of new drywall partitions, sound attenuation insulation, base boards and moldings, doors and frames, and door hardware. Removal of floor electrical outlets and wiring. Installation of floor electrical abandonment caps, electrical outlets, receptacles and electrical wire, and replace carpet tile. Installation of electrical swiches, wire and conduit. Installation of vinyl wallcovering, prepartion and painting of walls, and install carpet tile where walls were removed. All work is to be performed a the Federal Building, 200 4th Street SW, Huron, South Dakota. Demolition and construction will be accomplished in four phases, with approximately 30 days in between phases. Electrical connections may need to be made during this time. Plans and specifications will be available after February 14, 1997. Price proposals must be received by 12 noon on March 7, 1997. Requests for soliciation packages must be made in writing to the above Contracting Officer. Estimated cost range is estimated under $100,000. A site vist is strongly recommended.
