The US Army Communication & Electronics Command intends to procure Electromechanical Actuator fourteen ea., for the AN/TPQ-36 Radar set, NSN 5985-01-263-7670. Deliveries to Depot, San Joaquin, Stockton CA., Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX. and New Cumberland, PA. Soicitation to be issued on a limited competiive basis, (two limited sources), sole source per Far 6.302-1(b)(1). Two sources GEC-Marconi Aerospace Inc. Hilliside, NJ and Barber Coleman Co, Loves Park, IL. the only two companies possessing the knowledge and expertise for this Acquisition. The Government does not possess technical data completely defining form, fit and function of the item being procured and has no way of evaluating a substitute item. However, all responsible sources may subimit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. A delivery schedule of 270 days after award is required. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's Manual.
