This ia a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solictation will not be issued. RFQ97P-13 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase the following brand name equipment: AT&T 7444 Terminal Sets with Power Supply 20 each; AT&T 7406 Plus Terminal Sets with Display 50 each; 8110 AO1C Analog Telephone Sets 5 each; AT&T Amplified Handsets for 7000 series 20 each; and AT&T Amplified Handsets for 2500 series 5 each. All items shall be delivered within thirty days After Receipt of Order (ARO). FOB Distination: Library of Congress/Receiving, Landover Center Annex, 1701 BrightseatRoad, Landover, MD 20785. The following provisions apply to this acquisition; 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items and 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condition -- Commerical Items (under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Disputes; 52.232-25 Prompt Payments. These clauses shall be available upon written request.) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition (under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Libary of Congress; 52.223-3 Convict Labor and 52.215-2 Audit and Records -- Negotiation.
