B -- MONITORING OF HABITAT CREATED THROUGH PLACEMENT OF DREDGED MATERIAL SOL DACW29-97-R-0018 DUE 040197 POC Colleen Hightower, 504/862-1450, Contract Specialist The Government intends to contract with Louisiana State University for the monitoring of habitat created through the placement of dredge material. The purpose of the monitoring is to quantify and describe types of habitat created and to document changes in habitat created over time. The work involves aerial photographic analysis, geographical information system (GIS) analysis, ground truthing, and etc., as established by solicitation. The contractor will prepare, furnish and deliver work products such as vertical color infrared photographs, digital color mosiac, and others as described in solicitation. This is an interim contract for eight months, until a competitive procured contract can be awarded. See Note 22. (0030)
