The objective of this solicitation is to provide maintenance support
for the presentation team, and integration of system upgrades and/or
new technologies for the operation of Demonstration Project No. 105
(DP105), Advanced Transportation Management Technologies, the Office of
Technology Applications of the Federal HIghway Administration. To
successfully execute the requirements of the statement of work, the
contractor must be a leader in the design and installation of
technologies for Transportation Management Centers, have capabilities
in the development of computer networks interfaced with electronic
equipment, and have the knowledge and skills required to maintain and
troubleshoot these systems as well as the expertise in the many
disciplines comprising Advanced Transportation Management Technologies
and Systems. California Polytechnic State University designed the
computerized system for the DP 105 trailer and integrated the various
software and hardware technologies supplied by vendors. FHWA plans to
negotiate a contract with California Polytechnic State University, San
Luis Obispo, California 93407, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only one
responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy
