Concerns having the ability for providing community residential corrections services for juvenile male and female federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location shall be in the Chamberlain/Springfield, South Dakota area. Estimated total number of mandays is 14,600 mandays and 7,300 mandays for each option year. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a February 28, 1997, estimated closing date is o/a April 29, 1997. Contract base period is 12 months with three one-year options to renew. A requirements-type contract is anticipated.
