This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-97-B-0001 is issued as an invitation for bid (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The purchase of services is restricted to those companies listed on the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) list of approved carriers. The applicable SIC code is 4119; size standard is $5.0M. The following services are required: Dobbins Air Reserve Base, (Marietta) Georgia has a requirement for 35 each, 40/47 passenger coach type buses with forward and aft curbside access accompanied with bus drivers for an Open House to be conducted during the period 14-15 June 1997. Buses are required to be in place NLT 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, 14 June 1997 and terminate at approximately 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, 15 June 1997. Buses shall provide a continuous shuttle service of approximately 5 miles round-trip from approximately 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (8 hours) on both days. The successful bidder shall be contacted to attend a site visit and tour the travel route within one (1) week after award. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 based on price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with bid. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies without addenda.
