Johnson, Contracting Officer This project is for the construction of a sediment control structures at sites 33B-1 and 33C-2, Fort Hood Military Reservation. Site 33B-1, consists of an earthfill dam, earthen emergency spillway, and corrugated metal principal conduit and appurtenances. The major items of work are 40,440 cu yds of compacted earthfill, 7,250 cu yds of unclassified excavation, 140 ft of 12 gauge corrugated metal pipe, and placement of 30 cu yds of graded drainfill. Site 33C-2, consists of an earthfill dam, earthen emergency spillway conduit and appurtenances, The Major items of work are 4,265 cu yds of compacted earthfill, 706 cu yds of unclassified excavation, 110 ft of 18" dia, 16 gauge corrugated metal pipe, 60 ft of 18" dia., 16 gauge culvert pipe, placement of 10 cu yds of graded earthfill. Both job sites are located approximately 1.5 miles north of Copperas Cove, Coryell County, Texas, on the Fort Hood Military Reservation. Estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
