Bidders/Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for
this project, must send in their request on company letterhead, stating
if they are bidding as a prime contractor or sub-contractor/supplier
along with a Company check, Cashier's check or Money order (Visa and
Mastercard can also be used to purchase plans and specification) in the
amount of $44.00 to: DEFENSE AUTOMATED PRINTING OFFICE, PHILADELPHIA
NAVAL BASE, BUILDING 77-L, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19112. Each check must be
made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable
solicitation number. Two sets of plans and specifications will be sent
via First Class Mail upon availability to those contractors who have
tendered payment. If a contract number is not annotated as required or
your check is not made payable to the U.S. Treasury, your check will
be returned unprocessed. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO PLANS
AND SPECIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL PROPER PAYMENT HAS BEEN

Szlener at (215) 897-6551. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The work includes the
removal and disposal of asbestos materials and lead-containing paint;
the removal of partitions, walls, doors, windows, mechanical and
electrical fixtures and equipment; the provision of metal stud and
gypsum board partitions, moveable partitions, metal and wood doors and
metal frames, miscellaneous metal fabrications, vinyl flooring, carpet
tile, ceramic tile, painting, suspended acoustical ceilings, sprinkler
system, heating modifications, interior wiring and lighting, emergency
lighting equipment, and fire detectors, and incidental related work.
The estimated cost range is $1,000,000.00 -- $5,000,000.00. The SIC
code is 1542 and the Small Business Size Standard is ($17.0 million)
are applicable to this contract. The proposed contract (solicitation)
will be issued as unrestricted and the subject solicitation is subject
to evaluation criteria set forth in DRAF 252.219-7008 -- Notice of
Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns --
