This is a T-8 and electronic ballast retro fit project for existing fluorescent light fixtures located in the following bui ldings: BASE BID: Federal Building, United States Post Office and Courthouse i n Council Bluffs, Iowa. OPTION NO. 1: Federal Building and United States Courth ouse in Sioux City, Iowa. Retrofit project work will involve properly disposing of mercury containing T12 lamps and disposing of PCB contaminated ballasts at a n EPA approved facility by incineration. Any contractor or subcontractor perfor ming PCB removal work shall satisfy special responsibility and shall provide bod ily injury liability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of pol icy of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabili ties arising from work with PCB materials involved. The Government will not ind emnify against such risks.
