THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY WHERE THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING WRITTEN
INFORMATION ONLY. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PROCUREMENT INTEGRITY OF ANY
FUTURE PROCUREMENT, IF ANY, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THIS MARKET SURVEY,
INFORMATION REGARDING THE TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT WILL NOT BE GIVEN
AND NO APPOINTMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE. The Naval
Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) is seeking responses from
companies that have currently available information management software
that will enable facilities to meet the Clean Air Act permitting and
monitoring requirements. The Defense Environmental Security Corporate
Information Management Program Office (DESCIM) will review responses to
determine if existing commercial software is adequate for potential
DoD-wide deployment. The software must include and be capable of
managing all Federal, State and local air requirements. This
information management search is part of an overall initiative to
standardize DoD on a common data management system. Companies having
the necessary technical and management capabilities, facilities, and
experience are invited to submit a letter of interest describing their
data management software with relevant sections discussing but not
limited to: 1) the overall capability in managing the air program and
reporting air emission data; 2) the overall technical area such as
requirements for open architecture, interrelationship, and technical
compliance; and 3) pricing schedule. Responses will not be evaluated
against each other since each is a unique software with no common
statement. The letter of interest shall be no longer than three pages,
single-sided, and 12 pitch. NOTE: This market survey only requests
information regarding currently available software; not software
requiring upgrade. All information must be mailed to: Department of the
