Brumfiel, Contracting Officer, (757) 628-4635 Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs to the USCGC Point Monroe (WLB-82353) including but not limited to the following minimum items: (1) Renew deck plating, framing and deck covering in messing space, (2) Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller shaft, (3) Renew shaft covering (1 shaft/each), (4) Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller, (5) Preserve the transducer hull ring and renew the depth indicating transducer, (6) Renew supply ventilation ducting and overhaul supply fan, (7) Overhaul, renew and test valves, (8) 3.0 inch waster piece renewal, (9) 2.5 inch waster piece renewal, (10) 2.0 inch waster piece renewal, (11) 1.5 inch waster piece renewal, (12) 1.0 inch waster piece renewal, (13) Inspect and overhaul sea strainers, (14) Renew steering cable, (15) Reposition sheave, (16) Remove, inspect and reinstall rudder, (17) Replace sewage tank assembly and tank level sensing system, (18) Install stern chock and knee rail, (19) Remove and reinstall portlight, (20) Preserve forepeak compartment, (21) Preserve main hold, (22) Preserve main deck, (23) Clean and inspect diesel fuel tanks, (24) Remove, dispose and provide new fuel oil (1,000 gallons), (25) Preserve forward peak void, (26) Preserve freeboard, (27) Preserve galley/crew's mess bilges, (28) Preserve sewage void, (29) Renew corrosion preventive zinc anodes, (30) Provide temporary berthing, (31) Upgrade ammunition, arms, and explosive storage, (32) Provide temporary logistics, (33) Perform routine drydocking, etc. Indefinite items include but are not limited to the following items: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Renew Athwartships passageway, (3) Modify and preserve mast, (4) Renew water lubricated Port Shaft bearings, (5) Renew water lubricated starboard shaft bearings, (6) Renew shaft sleeve (1 shaft), (7) Install ventilation gooseneck and watertight plugs, (8) Remove, dispose and provide new fuel oil (200 gallon units), (9) Preserve underwater body for condition A (entire u/w body), (10) for condition B (entire u/w body), (11) for condition C (entire u/w body), (12) for condition B (140 sq ft), (13) Provide temporary messing, (14) Provide addt'l. temporary messing, (15) Provide addt'l........ temporary berthing, (16) Ultrasonic testing, 100 shots per group, (17) Ultrasonic testing, 500 shots per group, (18) Provide addt'l. temporary logistics. Vessel length is 82 feet and 10 inches. Width is 17 feet, 7 inches. Vessel homepier is Gulfport, MS. Vessel availability schedule is on or about May 25, 1997. Performance period is scheduled for 42 calendar days. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Orders must be placed within ten (10) days of solicitation issuance. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
