29 -- F404 MAIN FUEL CONTROLS SOL N68836-97-R-0008 DUE 040197 POC Contact Point, Victoria West, Code 210.86, (904) 779-3041, Fax (904) 779-3061 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to negotiate with only Allied Signals, Inc., Aerospace Equipment Systems, Tempe, AZ, under the authority of FAR 6.302, for the refurbishment of General Electric F404 fuel control numbers 4070T81G13 and 4070T81G14. Allied Signals, Inc. will also be required to upgrade fuel control 4070T81G13 to a 14 level of performance. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals that clearly demonstrate the ability to meet the needs of the Government which are received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Numbered Note 22 applies. (0031)
