59 -- CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLIES SOL N0025397R0014 DUE 022897 POC Contact Point: Julie Peterson The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Divsion Keyport (NUWCDK) requires the following spares for use in the flow display computer aboard the SEAWOLF submarine: 1) circuit card assembly, part number 200B438G01, 2) circuit card assembly, part number 200B439G01, 3) circuit card assembly, part number 200B669G01, 4) circuit card assembly, part number 200B670G01, 5) transducer, part number 100A514, 6) power supply, part number AW200S/5-A, 7) power supply, part number AW50D/12-A, and 8) power supply, part number 200B504G01. The flow display unit which these spares are to be used in was manufactured by Caldon Incorporated. The design, drawings and software programming information required to manufacture these units is proprietary to Caldon Incorporated. The Government is unable to provide the information necessary for the a competitive procurement. Therefore the Government intends to negotiate this requirement with Caldon Incorprated, 2857 Banksville Road, Pittsburg, PA 15216, on a sole source basis. This procurement will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 March 1997 with a 22 day closing.
