Sources Sought- The Bureau of Reclamation(Reclamation) in consultation
with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), has identified buildings at
the Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence KS that is in need of
renovation and code compliance work. The tasks consist of preparation
of construction drawings, specifications, detailed construction cost
estimates and related design calculations required for the renovations
outlined in the Facilities Needs Assessment(FNA). The estimated period
of performance for the proposed contract is approximately 270 days from
date of award. This is considered follow-on work from a previous
Reclamation delivery order issued under a BIA contract where the FNA
report was developed by the firm named below. In accordance with 41 USC
253 (c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Reclamation considers the
follow-on services specified above as sole source from Martell and
Associates, Kansas City, KS., and proposes to negotiate a contract with
that firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be
identified, they will be considered. Any sources who believe they can
provide the services under the circumstances specified above,will be
considered. Any sources who believe they can provide the services under
the conditions specified above are invited to submit, in writing, an
affirmative response to this announcement within 45 calendar days of
publication of this synopsis. An affirmative response would include
literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the
required services stated herein. The information will be evaluated and
used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. All sources
responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to their
business size status, i.e. small, large, minority owned, women-owned,
etc. Indian Preference is applicable. The standard identifier code
(SIC) for this acquisition is8711 and the small business standard is
