The copier services will be for customer agencies of a Franchise Business Activity (FBA)/Cooperative Administrative Support Unit (CASU) consortium. The customer agencies are located throughout the U.S. The resulting contract/s (more than one contract may be awarded) will provide copier services to locations identified in the request for proposal (RFP) as well as to allow for the addition of other locations as may be required at a later date. Services may be requested via Task Order or other mechanism as identified by the Government, describing the work requirement, deliverable and any special condition of the requirement. INTERESTED CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENTER INTO ARRANGEMENTS WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS IN ORDER TO OFFER THE BROADEST POSSIBLE GEOGRAPHIC COVERAGE. Period of performance is expected to begin around 7/l/97 for a period of l base year and 4 additional l year options. The Government may conduct a pre-solicitation meeting and parties interested in attending should notify John Thorslev or Lynda McBroom at 415-975-4068 not later than February 6, l997, in order to receive time and place of any determined meeting. A pre-proposal conference may be held at a time and date which will be contained in the RFP.
