R -- EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SOL 52WCNA7F6028SH DUE 041797 POC John Thorslev 415-975-4068 The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA, intends to procure Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. The EAP services will be for customer agencies of a Franchise Business Activity (FBA)/Cooperative Administrative Support Unit (CASU) consortium. The customer agencies are located throughout the U.S. A resulting contract/s (more than one contract may be awarded) will provide for professional diagnostic assessment, short-term problem solving and referral on an EAP basis. Services will be preformed or supervised by professionals with credentials in short-term problem solving, vocational rehabilitation, medical or employee health and fitness services. Services may be requested via Task Order or other mechanism as identified by the Government, describing the work requirement, deliverable and any special condition of the requirement. Period of performance is expected to begin around 7/1/97 for a period of l base year and 4 additional l year options. INTERESTED CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENTER INTO ARRANGEMENTS WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS IN ORDER TO OFFER THE BROADEST POSSIBLE GEOGRAPHIC COVERAGE.
