Work includes concrete foundation with a slab-on grade, 2x6 wood framing system with intermediate steel posts and beams and a pre-engineered wood truss roof structure, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. Site work also includes brick pavers, paving and sidewalks, landscaping, etc. as further described in the technical specifications. It is mandatory for contractors to submit a minimum of three (3) references and three (3) projects completed with similar scope as well as a 20% Proposal Guarantee of proposed contract amount. Attendance is mandatory at the pre-proposal meeting wihic is to be held on Tuesday, March 11, 1997 at 1:00 PM at Main Office, Rte. 212, Woodstock, NY. Proposals will be accepted from only those offerors who have attended the pre-proposal meeting. Cost range is $1,000,000.00 -- 1,300,000.00. Requests for solicitation packages must be accompanied by $100.00 company check or USPS money order made payable to Disbursing Officer-USPS. Payments for solicitations are NON-REFUNDABLE. Sealed offers will be received by the U.S. Postal Service, NY Facilities Service Office, 2 Hudson Place-5th Floor, Hoboken, NJ 07030-5502, prior to but not later than March 17, 1997. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of offers received, the amount of any offer or relative standing of offers will not be disclosed to ANYONE until time of contract award.
