The work in Bldg. 536 includes interior, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical renovations to 53,000 SF of aircraft maintenance area, 9,600 SF of administrative area and incidental related work. Work in Bldg. 544 includes interior, architectural, mechanical and electrical upgrades within this 27,000 SF facility and incidental related work. There are 5 Option Items: Option 1, Parking, parking lot lighting and landscapng adjacent to Bldg. 536. Option 2, Bury exterior overhead electrical lines adjacent to Bldg. 536. Option 3, Bury steam lines adjacent to Bldg. 536; upgrade storm drainage adjacent to Bldg. 536. Option 4, Add bathrooms in Bldg. 544. Option 5, Install lighting protection system on Bldg. 536. There will be 90 days to exercise 5 Bid Options. Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
