The contrctor shall furnish and install new water tanks, meters, piping, backwash controllers, measuring valves, brine injectors, garage door and all required incidental accessories for a complete working water softener system. Bidders interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request with a company check, Certified Cashier's Check, or Money Order in the amount of $11.00 to Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), BOX 40, BUILDING 83, NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE NEW LONDON, GROTON, CT 06340-5040. Each check must be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. Two sets of plans and specifications will be sent via First Class U.S. Mail upon availability to those contractors who have rendered payment. Checks not made payable to U.S. Treasury, or not annotated with the solicitation number will be returned unprocessed. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL PROPER PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
