Z -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR FDA'S SAN JUAN DISTRICT OFFICE SOL 223-97-9721 POC Lori Forgosh, Contract Specialist, (301) 443-4460, FAX (301) 443-3691, Caroline Dean, Contracting Officer, (301) 443-4460 The Food and Drug Administration has a requirement for an operational maintenance and support services contract with an indefinite quantity services portion to cover construction services at the Southeast Region District Office in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The multi-use facility includes six (6) one-story buildings with a total of 2,937 gross square meters and is comprised of laboratory and office space. Service requirements involve, but are not limited to: (1) operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems and equipment, natural gas and fuel oil pumping system, plumbing systems, electrical distribution system, laboratory gases and services, and maintenance and repair of buildings and structures; (2) indefinite quantity services for construction work; and (3) additional services. A fixed price contract is contemplated with an eight (8) month performance period and four (4) additional one year option periods. The tentative date of issuance of the RFP is on or about February 18, 1997 with proposals due 30 days later. This award is being made as a Small Business Set-Aside.
