13 -- DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND FABRICATION OF ADVANCED EXPENDABLE COUNTERMEASURES SOL N00164-97-R-0050 DUE 032597 POC Contact point, Ms. Hilda Quillen, Procurement Technician, Code 1164EJ, Phone 812-854-2422, Fax 812-854-3465, e-mail hq6591@smtp.nwscc.sea06.navy.mil The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Alliant Techsystems, Kilgore Operation, Kilgore Drive, Toone, TN 38381 to procure, via individual delivery orders issued thereunder, design, development, and fabrication of Advanced Expendable Countermeasures. Tasks involved will be in direct support of the countermeasures and will include modifications made to existing countermeasures that Kilgore has perviously developed in order to verify effectiveness against newly identified threats. Prototype quantities will vary on each order. Due to the unique capabilities and proprietary production processes employed by Kilgore in the ongoing manufacture of these countermeasures, the orders will be issued on an Other Than Full and Open Basis per FAR 6.302-1. This anticipated to be a two year effort. Periodic review and synopsis of the BOA will be performed by this activity. Individual orders will specify required tasks and all applicable delivery termsand conditions. Note 22 applies. The BOA will be issued on or about 24 February 1997.
