This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the IREMBASS. We are buying 50 new Repeaters for the IREMBASS. This new Repeater is similar to the Repeater that is presently used with the IREMBASS, the RT-1175A/GSQ (NSN 5820-01-349-5286). The new Repeater will have Tactical Remote Sensor System (TRSS) image message compatibility. The new Repeater will receive and retransmit a TRSS image message of 256 bits in length. The current source for this new Repeater is Lockheed Martin Communication System (LMCS), Cage 11447. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this new Repeater is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-R-SN, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demostrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorilly perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
