Hyman Tel: 410-965-9476 The Social Security Administration is attempting to identify vendors who can provide modifications to software created by the Versa Corporation. This proprietary software isused in fourteen Disability Determination Services (DDS) for the processing of disability claims. The modifications are required to make the software year 2000 compliant. The software must run on several models of IBM AS/400 mini-computers. The software to be modified includes baseline software common to all DDSs, aswell as software customized for each. SSA also requires that the software modifications not invalidate any portion of the existing maintenance contracts for the baseline and customized software owned by Versa Corporation. Firms having the capability to provide the required modification to the Versa Corporation software product are invited to submit literature with complete details attesting to the capability of your firms' ability to meet this requirement. Firms must also include examples of past experience on similar types of work. Interested parties must respond to this notice within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication.
