Wright-Patterson AFB OH has a requirement for Ergonomic Office Chairs. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F33601-96-T-A384 is a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acqusition Circular 90-36. This is a small business set-aside procurement. The standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 2522, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. There is four line items for ergonomic office chairs. Description: Line Item 1; Requirement is for 27 office chairs Mfr'd by Grahl Office Ergonomics, Xellence Task Chair PN# 66H, 16" hugger back ergomatic chair, seat tilt, rocking mechanism, back angle adjustment, seat slide mechanism, adjustable arms, NKBKU elbow rests, EAF foam padding, Fabric grade 10, color 4231 (nordic blue) brand name or equal. Qualified person will be required to adjust each chair. Line Item 2; Requirement is for 9 office chairs Mrf'd by Grahl Office Ergonomics, Xellence Task Chair PN# 66H, 16" hugger back ergomatic chair, seat tilt, rocking mechanism, back angle adjustment, seat slide mechanism, adjustable arms, N6 elbow rests, EAF foam padding, Fabric grade 10, color 4231 (nordic blue) brand name or equal. Qualified person will be required to adjust each chair. Line Item 3; Requirement is for 42 office chairs Mfr'd by Grahl Office Ergonomics, Xellence Task Chair PN# 66H, 16" hugger back ergomatic chair, seat tilt, rocking mechanism, back angle adjustment, seat slide mechanism, adjustable arms, N6 elbow rests, EAF foam padding, Fabric grade 10, color 4236 (blackberry) brand name or equal. Qualified person will be required to adjust each chair. Qualified person will be required to adjust each chair. Date of delivery is 90 days after receipt of order; Place of delivery and acceptance is Wright-Patteson AFB OH. FOB Destination. Evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of provision 52.212-2 are as follow: (1) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirements; (2) past performance; (3) price; in descending order of importance. Technical and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price.
