The services covered under this quotation are the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, lodging, operating materials, and incidentals necessary to complete seeding, fertilizing, and mulching of 300 slurry units on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. Four slurry units per acre. Water sources will be from various streams, designated by the Engineer, in the project area. Designated areas will consist of roadway cutbanks, fill slopes, borrow pits, waste areas, and slide areas. No work will be required farther than 400 feet horizontally from the road centerline. All exposed soils shall be treated. The project is located on various roads on Prince of Wales Island. Access to project site is by air or water from Ketchikan, Alaska. Hollis may be accessed by the Alaska Marine Highway System. Private air taxi and barge services are also available to numerous communities on Prince of Wales Island. All work is to be completed by August 15, 1997. This project is 100% Small Businessset-aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this project.
