The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA proposes to modify contract N68936-95-C-0094 to acquire additional AV-8B systems engineering services for the AV-8B Joint System Support Activity in the systems integration, enhancement and test efforts. This support will take the form of an estimated 310,708 manhours and will be negotiated with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (MDA), St. Louis, MO. MDA is the designer and devloper of the AV-8B aircraft and is the sole repository of specifications, drawings, special tools and engineering and software expertise necessary to provide the support for the current in-production AV-8B aircraft and its systems.
