consists of construction of a compacted earthfill dam together with its
drainage system, reinforced concrete principal spillway pipe,
reinforced concrete inlet structure and impact basin, sheet pile drop
structures, excavated emergency spillway and vegetative cover within
the towns of Dryden and Harford and the village of Dryden. Work will be
done in two phases; base year plus one option. The government may or
may not exercise its option for construction of phase II. Phase I
consists of the principal spillway pipe, all the concrete structures,
sheet pile drop structures and partial earthfill, excavation and
drainage system. Performance time for phase I will be 235 calendar
days. Total performance time with the option is 594 calendar days.
Estimated price range is $1 million to $5 million. All responsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
