Project invo lves: BASE BID: Shall include, but not limited to the following work, where sh own on the drawings: Remove all components of the entire existing roof system d own to the deck; install new non-tapered insulation; new perimeter and expansion joint metal; and a new coal tar pitch, aggregate surfaced, built-up roof. Asbes tos abatement of membrane flashing is required. Base Bid work only shall includ e construction of two steel stairs over existing chilled water lines. OPTION NO . 1: In location shown on the drawings, shall include the work described in the Base Bid except stairs.
