Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst proposes to procure various Peculiar Support Equipment Tools for the J52 Engine. Such items include puller, wrench, adapter, turbine nozzle bracket etc, with varied quantities. Inspection and acceptance at origin. Delivery required by December 1997.Shipment will be FOB destination to Granite City, IL. Inspection system under MIL-I-45208A. Strict production requirements include close machining tolerances, i.e., 0.2495+.0004/-.0000. Special testing requirements- functional, penetrant inspection, heat treat, welding and plating. The specification package for this procurement contains technical data subject to export controls. This information may only be released to individuals or enterprises that have been certified by the Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC) to receive technical data subject to OPNAVINST 5510.161, in accordance with DOD Directive 5230.25 of 6 Nov 84. The certification of a US contractor is evidenced by the presentation of a DD Form 2345 on which Block 7A has been checked and a certification number entered and on which Block 8 has been completed by a DLSC Official. Any request for this solicitation must be accompanied by the certification referred to above unless a copy is already on file at the Naval Air Warfare Center.
