The US Army Space and Terrestrial Communication Directorate (S&TCD) is conducting this survey to determine potential sources for the following. The project is to design and develop a VHF-UHF fixed station mast mounted antenna system. If electrical performance is not compromised, use an Army standard QEAM 30 foot mast, otherwise consider integral mast and antennas. Deployment time must be less than 15 minutes for 2 people. Dismantle time must be less than 20 minutes for 2 people. The azimuth pattern is to be omnidirectional. Two ports, one VHF and one UHF. Specifications are as follows: for the VHF (30-90 Mhz), Gain = 0dBi minmimum, VSWR Less Than 3.0:1, Maximum power is 125 Watts. For the UHF (225-450 Mhz), Gain = +2 dBi at 225 Mhz, +4 dBi at 450 Mhz, VSWR Less Than 3.0:1, Maximum power = 100 Watts. Interested parties are to submit a White Paper not to exceed 10 written pages with no more than 5 additional pages of drawings and/or data sheets. Cost information is to be included.
