In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Coast Guard intends to enter into a sole source contract with The Carlisle and Finch Company of Cincinnati, Ohio to provide the following "brand name or equal" optics and components: items: DCB-24 beacons (B4813W), DCB-224 beacons (B4814WW), RL24 lanterns (RL4816W1K-A), Speed Reducers (8887) and lampchangers (LC8949-A). Carlisle and Finch is a manufacturer of the beacons and lanterns. Carlisle and Finch provides the sensor outputs (rotation detection and lampchanger position sensor) that are required at a monitored lighthouse. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
