Ko, Contracting Officer (757) 628-4645 Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs including, but not limited to, the following Minimum Items: 1) Overhaul: Stern Tube Seals, Anchor and Anchor Chains, 2) Overhaul, Renew, and Test Valves, 3) Service Rudder Assemblies, 4) Preserve: Underwater Body, Freeboard, Superstructure, 5) Temporary Logistics, 6) Routine Drydocking Indefinite Items include: 1) Welding Repairs, 2) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Intermediate Shaft, 3) Renew: Fin Stabilizer Seals and Bearings, Fin Shaft Sleeve, Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearings, 4) Ultrasonic Testing. Vessel's homeport is Boston, MA. Vessel availability schedule is 02 June 1997 for 42 days. The place of performance is restricted to a 75 mile radius of the vessel's homepier. There will be a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Funds are not presently available for this procurement. The government's obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contractual purposes can be made. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 26 Feb 1997. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
