ROADMAP WORKSHOP AND PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT WORKING GROUP-SA-ALC KELLY AFB
TX. The USAF, San Antonio Air Logistic Center, Kelly AFB Texas, will
host the Annual Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE) Product
Improvement Working Group and Roadmap Workshop, 28 April -- 2 May 1997,
at Kelly AFB Texas. The purpose of the conference us to provide a forum
for munitions managers, logistics and development managers to meet and
exchange ideas, identify problem areas, assign action agencies,
compare requirements, observe demonstration of new equipment, and to
discuss pertinent munitions/armament equipment issues. The MMHE Program
Manager is extending to industry an opportunity to provide
presentations on state-of-the-art products that have application in the
area of munitions and armament maintenance. Items of interest include
technological applications that increase reliability, maintainability
and deployability of munitions handling and armament equipment; down
sized, multipurpose, highly reliable munitions and armament equipment;
new concepts, methods, or technology that enhance loading of combat
aircraft with munitions; and new technologies that enhance storage and
maintenance of munitions. Available briefing time will limit the
number of briefings to 14,30 minute briefings. The Government reserves
the right to select the products to be presented. Industry personnel
will not be allowed to attend any of the formal segments of the
conference. The Government intends this to be an informal exchange
between industry and the Government, and does not intend to award
contracts or make any payments for services on the basis of this
action. This invitation does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB)
or a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a
commitment by the Government. Interested personnel should provide
