The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) plans to issue a sole source contract to Booz-Allen & Hamilton to continue scientific, technical and administrative support services under contract SDIO84-91-C-0034 for a period of six months from April 1, 1997 through September 30, 1997. This continuation of services is required due to the cancellation of the procurement entitled System Engineering and Technical Assistance Services For the Science and Technology Directorate (solicitation HQ0006-96-R-0009), as a result of revisions to the Government requirements. This announcement revises CBD announcement BMDO 97-11 previously issued on January 21, 1997, which indicated a five-month contract extension through August 31, 1997. BMDO intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the follow-on procurement in early 1997.
