Project consists of the following: remove east hangar door (5 panels), remove glass which has been painted with lead-based paint, dispose of glass as hazardous waste, deliver old doors to DRMO for salvage, repair the four columns as identified in the contract and drawings, and provide and install new hangar doors with motorized lead doors. Panels shall be detachable and capable of being operated independently by hand crank. Period of performance is 150 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 15 Mar 97 and bid opening date of 15 Apr 97 are tentative. The applicable SIC Code and size standard for this acquisition are 1541/$17M. The estimated range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
