Shelter, Rapid Deployable, Special Purpose Shelters with an option for
an additional 56 each. A first article (one each) may be required
which will be included in the production quantity. The shelters will be
manufactured in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane Specification.
Federal Specifications L-S-125 and V-T-285 are required as well as
MIL-C-44103, MIL-C-43204C(GL), MIL-C-44423(GL), etc. The dimensions
shall be a minimum of 13 feet wide by 15 feet long inside and a maximum
exterior height of 12 feet. The minimum height of the inside when
deployed shall be 8.7 feet. The shelters must withstand a 50 knot wind
with gusts to 65 knots without damage when properly anchored and stand
a steady state rainfall without leaks. The shelters will be mounted on
a High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle and will support HMD
DASC and other Marine Corps Programs. The shelters are to be shipped
FOB destination to NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. The first article, if
required, will be due 60 days after effective date of contract.
Delivery of 6 each per month shelters are due commencing 60 days after
first article acceptance. Inspection and acceptance will be at
destination. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. This action is
100% set-aside for small business concerns; the applicable SIC is 2394
and the size standard is 500 employees or less. All responsible
